The Story Behind The Run

We always have self-doubt if you are a high achiever because when we try to go to the next level and there is thought we are not good enough, but that’s okay because that means we are hungry and we are committed to elevating ourselves.

Tokushima marathon is my 3rd consecutive marathon in 3 weeks
I finished Tokyo Marathon(at 3:00:32) and Tottori Marathon (at 3:27) and then Tokushima Marathon was the last one with the time at 3:10:53
After Tottori marathon, I traveled around Japan. I went to Matsue, Okayama, Hiroshima, Marugame and Tokushima as the final destination.
On the race day in Tokushima, I was so excited to know that the guest runner for the race was Wilson Kipsang
And the other guest was Japanese prominent runner Kamino Daichi
He started at the back and chased us. He passed me at around 18km.
And he stand at the turning point and even Hi-five to us!!
The course is almost flat, but a bit boring as it run along the river, and it was quite windy on the race day.
The weather suddenly changed to bad at around 36k, strong wind and heavy rain.I was suffered from the harsh weather but managed to keep the pace.
The finishing area is not walk-distance from city Center. The organizer provided shuttle bus and speed boat to bring finisher back to the City Center.
I didn’t get much chance to travel around Tokushima, but it’s quite convenient to access  from Osaka.
